TRENDS IN ZAMBIA'S AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION

Abstract
Zambia has been trying to mechanize agriculture since
the 70's.A lot of capital has been invested in the scheme. The results, however,
have been disappointing. The mechanization sector is lacking behind advancements
in crop research and animal research. There is an urgent need to address machinery
management and economical sound utilization of farm machinery.
