STUDY ON OPERATION AND ECONOMY OF THE LEBANESE FARM
ALI ABED WEHBI, JlRl HAVEL
Abstract
Study indicates a relative stability of agricultural
enterprises and their adaptation to even less favourable economic conditions
which are typical for the present position of Lebanon.
It emphasizes at the same time importance of non-agricultural activities to
provide economic stability of an agricultural enterprise as well as the function
of cattle breeding development, particularly milk production in given market
conditions. It accentuates the importance of production diversification both
for the economy of small and medium large farms of agricultural enterprises
and for many developing countries as a whole.
